A leaked video of the late actor Rishi Kapoor as he struggled for life in his final hours in ICU, has angered many Bollywood celebrities. Celebrities like Arjun Kapoor, Karan Wahi, Mini Mathur and others called the hospital for staff negligence.

And now, the Federation of West Indian Film Employees (FWICE) has raised a protest against the hospital where the veteran star was admitted. The association has also sent a letter to the hospital regarding it.

The subject of the letter read: “i. Clandestine video footage of the late moments of the late Mr. Rishi Kapoor

ii. Replay of a similar video footage incident of the time of Mr. Vinod Khanna’s death ”

Ashoke Pandit, who shared the letter on his Twitter with a caption, “@fwice_mum protests the #RishiKapoor ji viral video in ICU at HN hospital. The video is unethical, without permission and violates the fundamental right to live with dignity-privacy of a legend who lived a glorious and dignified life and loved, considerate, held in high esteem by all. ”

Rishi Kapoor last breathed at HN Reliance Hospital in Mumbai on Thursday. I have been fighting cancer since 2018.

The Hospital has also released a statement saying, “We have been struck that a video of one of our patients is appearing on digital media platforms. At Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital, patient confidentiality and privacy is of utmost importance. for us and we strongly condemn such actions. The hospital administration is investigating the incident and strict measures will be taken against the perpetrators. ”
