Actor Juhi Chawla, who worked with Rishi Kapoor on most of his film in the early days of his career, wrote a long and emotional note about the 76-year-old actor who died Thursday morning in Mumbai after two years. of battle against cancer.

I feel very very sad I have many memories of him … I started working with him shortly after QSQT … in the Kalpatarujis movie Ghar Ghar Ki Kahani … Ghar Ki Izzat was another one of our movies … at the time, he was a newly arrived, I would be surprised by his presence on sets, since he was a great star … he was always an actor without effort, he barely rehearsed and the director was always happy with his first take. I would tremble and pray not to forget my dialogues in front of him … and look silly. He was always kind, but a little detached.

In elaborating on Rishi’s behavior on sets during those days, Juhi added: “Every day he worked 2 shifts mainly, moving from studio to studio and always on time.
