Arun Govil’s statement about not receiving any prize for Ramayan It recently went viral, making fans trend #AwardforRamayan. While it is Ram, Sita recalled the moment the cast was first congratulated. Although not exactly a state honor as his co-star was concerned, Dipika Chikhalia felt it was equivalent to “creating history.”

Dipika turned to her Instagram account to share a photo of the team, including Arun Govil, director Ramanand Sagar, and former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. The actor recalled that day that he felt the stars were part of a “legacy” of Ramayan, when he received a call from Delhi to meet with the Prime Minister.

The record return of Ramayan Keeping the public busy in the midst of the national shutdown has brought Dipika and the other stars of the ’80s and’ 90s back to showing familiar names. Many of Dipika’s photos have gone viral.

Although he posted with a congressional leader here, he had disputed a Bharatiya Janata Party ticket to the Baroda assembly constituency in 1990. He had also won the election and recently his photos with another former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, current PM Narendra Modi and veteran BJP leader LK Advani had gone viral.

Incidentally, even Rajeev Khandelwal had recently posted a photo with Rajiv Gandhi, recalling that the former prime minister had waited for him for the school’s essay writing competition.
