A video claiming that Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan made a surprise monetary donation to the disadvantaged in a unique way has appeared online and is going viral.

The TikTok video, which has not been verified, claims that Aamir sent a truckload of bags of wheat flour packages to be distributed to those in need. He claims that on April 23 the truck arrived in Delhi in a disadvantaged area amid the current COVID-19 crisis. The vehicle was loaded with one-kilo packages of flour.

While many refused to take the packages because they felt that a kilo would hardly serve any purpose in their families, the video mentions that those who took the packages were surprised.

Inside each package of flour, it turns out, there were 15,000 rupees hidden in cash.

Claiming that Aamir was behind the special gesture, the presenter of the TikTok video said this way that Aamir made sure that the money reached the really needy people because only those who were absolutely in distress would line up for just a kilo of flour.

The authenticity of the video or the incident has not yet been established.

Aamir is not known to publicly announce his social service, unlike most other Bollywood superstars. IANS contacted the actor’s team for clarification, but there was no response.
