A man in Indore was made to squat for violating the running of the bulls and a video of the incident went viral. In a series of tweets, ANI reported that Indore security committee staff detained the man and forced him to “squat” while “driving his Porsche luxury car in the middle of the shutdown.”

While commenting on the incident, Indore ASP told the news agency that “people who were out needlessly were being detained.”

“Measures have been taken since he was not wearing the proper mask [the man driving the car]”He added.

The man identified as Sanskar Daryani told ANI that the incident occurred when he “was returning home from the company.”

“I showed them my pass but they verbally abused me and asked me to do sit-ups. I tried to talk to them but they didn’t listen to me. Then I followed his orders. They filmed it, made jokes and then asked me to leave, “he added.

The incident has sparked several reactions on Twitter. While some said security personnel did the right thing, others noted that the driver should not be made fun of.

“Driving luxury vehicles is not an excuse to escape punishment during confinement. Congratulations to the agent who insured it, ”wrote a Twitter user. “He was detained because his mouth was not covered, it is mandatory in Indore,” said another. “That person behaved in a humble way, we didn’t laugh at him,” tweeted a third.
