Coronavirus (COVID-19) Latest Global Updates: More than 2.9 million people have been infected by the new coronavirus, while more than 2,000,000 have died worldwide. The United States has the maximum number of cases in the world, followed by Spain and Italy. And the World Health Organization said there was no evidence that people who recovered from COVID-19 cannot get sick again.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Saturday that plans to restart the economies of the Canadian provinces do not hinge on the presumption that people infected with the coronavirus develop immunity against it. Reuters reported. “(Immunity) is something we need to get clearer answers, and until we have those clear answers, we must err on the side of greater caution,” he said in his daily briefing in Ottawa.

French Prime Minister Edouard Phillipe will present the government’s plan on Tuesday to undo the country’s blockade against the coronavirus in parliament.
