PSG ‘bets on Paul Pogba … and offers Old Trafford Angel Di Maria and Julian Draxler’s failure’ to Man United as part of deal for French midfielder

Paris Saint-Germain reportedly made an offer for Paul Pogba of Manchester United, but surprisingly offered Old Trafford Angel Di Maria’s failure as part of the deal.
Pogba’s future at United is uncertain after he revealed his desire to leave the club last summer and continued his ties with other European teams.
The France international has also made just nine appearances for the club in all competitions this period after a long battle to overcome an ankle injury.

Calciomercato now claims that PSG has made an offer for Pogba as they attempted to win the Champions League for the first time in their history.
The report states that a big money offer has been submitted in hopes that United will cash out a player who has only one year left on his contract plus the option of one more year if the club chooses to activate it.
But the biggest surprise of the offer is that it also includes two players, Di Maria and German midfielder Julian Draxler, in exchange for part.
The inclusion of Di Maria is unlikely to tempt United to accept given the Argentine’s disappointing one-year stay at Old Trafford in 2014-15.

Midfielder Julian Draxler has also been included in the partial trade after losing PSG’s spot.
The Argentine international started off flying with a wonderful goal against Leicester City, but then struggled to have any impact after Louis van Gaal.
He was then sold to PSG in 2015, where he revived his career by winning four consecutive league titles.
Although five years have passed since Di Maria’s departure from United, there is no love lost between the club and the player, with the winger celebrating on purpose in front of fans at Old Trafford during his team’s 2-0 victory in his return in 2018.
But it was United who last laughed when they won 3-1 in the second leg at Parc des Princes to tie 3-3 on aggregate and advance to the quarterfinals with goals away from home.
