Virat Kohli and AB De Villiers chose an ODI India-South Africa combo squad during their last Instagram Live interaction and both decided that MS Dhoni would be the boss. Royal Challengers Bangalore teammates talked about many topics during their conversation and the team they chose included up to eight Indian cricketers. The three South Africans who made the cut were De Villiers, Dale Steyn and Kagiso Rabada.
In addition to Kohli, the other Indian cricketers on the team were Rohit Sharma, Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh, Yuzvendra Chahal and fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah.
“I have always had great respect for him, he is always calm and knows the game well,” said De Villiers when naming captain Dhoni of the combined team.

“For me, MS (Dhoni), MS is probably the most balanced option,” said Virat Kohli.
Kohli also spoke about his long association with RCB, saying he does not want to leave the franchise while expressing his desire to win the Indian Premier League (IPL) title.
“12 years have passed. It is such an incredible journey, so surreal. You’ve been here nine years yourself. For many people, it is obvious that we want to achieve the ultimate goal for the RCB. We have approached three times, but we have not succeeded. That will always be our dream together and I was thinking that there is no way in any scenario to think of leaving this team, for love and care, the franchise has shown. “
“You may be excited that the season is going well or not, but having that loyalty with Bangalore, with RCB is quite surreal.” Until the moment I play IPL, regardless of how we play, I will never leave this team, “he added.
