The South Western Railway (SWR) of the area operated nine special trains to ferry 13,119 migrants back home to the seven northern and eastern states of India, an official said Tuesday.
“First Shramik special train Tuesday left from Hubli to Hatia in Jharkhand to 12:00 pm, with 1,477 passengers,” said a ROE of the designated spokesperson.

The second special train left Malur station, on the outskirts of Bengaluru Saharsa in Bihar at 3:15 pm, with more than 1,500 passengers.
“The highlight of this train is with this Bengaluru, Division of steel wire) has exceeded the milestone of carry 1 lakh passengers per Shramik special,” the official said.
This was 74 example of train of the city.
“Third Shramik special train Tuesday left Chikka Bannavara station of Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh at 3:45 pm with 1,549 passengers,” the official said.
The fourth Shramik special train departed from Bangalore Cantonment to 4:00 pm with 1,081 of the migrants to Lal Kuan, in Uttarakhand.
SWR of the fifth special train left Chikka Bannavara of the station, Mau in Uttar Pradesh, at 5:35 pm with 1,548 migrants.
The sixth train left from Malur to 6:57 in the afternoon, with 1,544 passengers to Katihar in Bihar.
In the same way, the seventh special train departed from Chikka Bannavara at 7 pm with 1,420 migrants to Basti in Uttar Pradesh.
The eighth special train left Bangalore Cantonment station at 8:20 pm with 1,500 immigrants to Agartala in Tripura.
On Tuesday, the ninth special train left Malur at 9:08 pm, with 1,500 immigrants to Barkhakhana in Jharkhand.
Meanwhile, migrants are shipping Tuesday, 10 and 11, special trains in KSR Bengaluru Arraria and Beeaiah in Bihar.
According to the railway of the area, the special trains will be run for the time required.
“Shramik special trains will continue to run until the time there is no requirement,” the official said.
