42 people test positive; bangalore three

Karnataka reported 42 new cases of coronavirus on Tuesday, bringing the total number of positive people in the state to 904. Among them, 426 people have been cured and discharged, while 31 have succumbed to the virus, the state health department reported.

According to the state department of health, “To date, 904 COVID-19 Positive cases have been confirmed. This includes 31 deaths and 426 downloads. 42 new positive cases have been reported in Karnataka between yesterday (Monday) 5pm and 12pm today (Tuesday). ”

The three women from Bengaluru Urban, who have tested positive, are a contact from a previously infected patient (P-454). They are currently under observation at a designated city hospital.

Of the 42 cases, 25 have a history of travel to Ahmedabad in Gujarat and six have a history of travel to Mumbai, Maharashtra. Among the new cases, 15 cases were reported from Bagalakote, nine from Dharwad, five from Hassan, two from Bidar, Dakshina Kannada and Yadagiri. Bellary, Chikkaballapura, Kalaburgi and Mandya have each reported one case.
