New Delhi railway station, in the heart of the national capital, will see three special trains depart for Dibrugarh, Bengaluru and Bilaspur on Tuesday, around 50 days after a national blockade caused the suspension of all services from passenger trains.
On the same day, five other Delhi-bound trains will depart from Patna, Bangalore, Howrah, Mumbai and Ahmedabad, the railways said. The rates will be equivalent to Rajdhani’s rates, he said.

Northern Railways in a statement has said that the entrance to the New Delhi station will be on the Paharganj side for all confirmed ticket holders. Passengers with such tickets will not be allowed to enter from the Ajmeri Gate side, he said.
For now, the railways have issued a schedule for trains to run between May 12-20. These trains will only have CA classes, that is, first, second and third CA. The fare structure will be that corresponding to Rajdhani regular trains with deferred schedule (excluding food service charges).
On May 13, eight trains will leave the national capital for Howrah, Rajendra Nagar, Jammu Tawi, Thiruvananthapuram, Chennai, Ranchi, Central Mumbai and Ahmedabad. Another train will leave Bhubaneswar for New Delhi.
On May 14, the solitary train leaving New Delhi will head to Bhubaneswar, while a train will depart from Dibrugarh, Jammu Tawi, Bilaspur and Ranchi with the national capital as its destination.
On May 15, a train will depart Thiruvananthapuram and Central Chennai for New Delhi, while one for Madgaon will depart Delhi.
According to the railway schedule, there are no trains scheduled for May 16 and 19. On May 17 you will see two exits: Madgain to New Delhi and New Delhi to Secunderabad.
The only train scheduled for May 18 is from Agartala to New Delhi, while two trains scheduled for May 20 are from New Delhi to Agartala and Secunderabad to the national capital.
Officials said that according to the guidelines, the electronic ticket issued by IRCTC will function as an electronic pass for the movement of drivers to and from the station to pick up or drop off passengers.
All passengers arriving at the Delhi train station would have to comply with health protocols prescribed by the state government, authorities said.
