3 Republic TV employees arrested for allegedly trespassing into Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray’s Raigad Farmhouse

Sources have said The fifth that the complaint in this case was filed by the night shift guard at the Thackeray farmhouse. It was learned that a car with three people, allegedly belonging to Republic TV, stopped in front of the mansion around 7:30 pm on September 8.

They asked the guard on duty how to get to the farm. The guard, who was suspicious of the three, did not reveal the correct location and went back inside to alert the police.

Sometime later, the three people in the car were back at the lodge and had an altercation with the guard, asking him why he had not given them the correct directions. Sources say this altercation soon turned physical.

The police have launched an investigation against the three and a FIR has been registered under sections 452 (trespassing after preparation for harm, assault or unlawful intent), 448 (trespassing), 323 (causing harm voluntarily), 504 (intentional insult with intent to cause breach of the peace) and 34 (common intent) of the Indian Penal Code.
