Despite his poor performances in the 2020 Indian Premier League (IPL), Glenn Maxwell has defied all odds to silence his critics with aggressive displays for Australia in ODI’s current series against India. The off-roader scored a quick hit of 45 19-ball runs in the first ODI. He followed up with an undefeated hit of 63 on 29 deliveries in the second ODI at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Sunday. Wasim Jaffer, who is the hitting coach for the Maxwell Kings XI Punjab IPL (KXIP) team, took to Twitter to speak to the 32-year-old with a hilarious meme from the Bollywood movie, “Sarfarosh.”
He posted the tweet during the second ODI.

In the photo, Naseeruddin Shah can be seen saying his iconic dialogue: “Gunaah Hai Yeh! (This is a crime!)”.
Australia won both ODI games by big margins, taking a 2-0 lead in the three-game series. After the ODIs, both sides will meet in three T20Is and a four-match Test series.
Promoted
India was in bad shape during the second ODI, with Steve Smith grabbing a century. He made 104 runs of 64 balls. Meanwhile, even David Warner (83), Aaron Finch (60) and Marnus Labuschagne (70) marked half a century.
The Indian bowling department was trashed by the likes of Smith, Maxwell, and Labuschagne. Even Jasprit Bumrah couldn’t find his way, conceding 79 runs in 10 overs and posting just one layoff.
