Aaron Finch and KL Rahul shared a moment of light on the field during the second One-Day International (ODI) underway between Australia and India in Sydney on Sunday. After opting to hit, Finch and David Warner again got the hosts off to a good start, hitting a 142-run stand for the first wicket. On Australia’s twelfth innings, Navdeep Saini threw a full pitch to Finch that the Australian captain missed and hit him square in the stomach. Finch was seen fighting pain after taking the blow to his body. India goalkeeper KL Rahul tried to tickle Finch where he was hit and the Australia captain pushed him away with smiles on all sides.

Finch was 18 when the incident occurred and then achieved his 28th ODI half a century after that. He made 60 of 69 balls with the help of six limits and a maximum.
Mohammed Shami provided India with the first breakthrough, as Finch gained an advantage that was taken midway by India’s captain Virat Kohli.
Finch’s starting teammate David Warner also scored half a century, his second in the ODI series.
Warner broke 83 77-ball runs in an inning filled with three highs and seven limits.
Promoted
Warner’s innings came to an end thanks to some brilliance on the field from Shreyas Iyer, who scored a direct hit from outside the 30-yard circle.
For India, this is a life and death match after they were defeated in the first match of the series on Friday.
