However, the government reiterated that the Covid-19 chart was relatively flat.

Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Health Lav Agarwal said: “India’s disease curve is relatively flat, until now. What matters is not when the peak will come, but how we protect ourselves. If we work together, the peak will never come. If we don’t, we are sure to see spikes in the cases. “

Meanwhile, the national recovery rate improved further, reaching 27.4 percent today. The overall mortality rate was stable at 3.2 percent, although 83 deaths were recorded today. India has tested 11.07,233 samples to date. The outcome ratio (ratio of people recovered to deaths) has also improved from 80:20 to 90:10.

The government said the number of Covid cases in 112 aspirational districts was only 610, which is less than 2 percent of the national burden. Covid’s greatest burden among these districts is found in Baramulla (62 cases), Nuh (57), Ranchi (55), YSR (55), Kupwara (47) and Jaisalmer (34).
