The next generation of Kia Carnival (code name: Kia KA4) will adopt very luxurious models like the Lexus LM, which is a premium version of the Toyota Alphard and Toyota Vellfire that is for sale in China and some other markets in Asia. Similar to the Lexus LM, the Kia Carnival 2021 will target wealthy shoppers. Hinting at the 4-seat design, a source from Kia Motors has revealed that “there is a high demand for 4-seater Carnival among CEOs and corporate executives.”
From the looks of it, the Kia Carnival 2021 is in the final stage of development, and spy images have revealed that the new model will be sold with three different grille designs, a sleek set of LED headlights, LED taillights, and a wraparound cockpit. It will have a group of virtual instruments and a great information and entertainment system with a touch screen.
Kia Motors reportedly plans to unveil the 2020 Carnival MPV in South Korea in July this year. The new model will be sold with a 2.2-liter diesel engine that will be an upgraded version of the current engine. For reference, in its current state, it offers 202 PS and 441 Nm. The MPV will even get a 3.5-liter gasoline engine option at a later stage.
The next generation of Kia Carnival will measure 5,155mm in length, 1,955mm in width and 1,740mm in height. It will have a wheelbase of 3,090 mm. The next-generation MPV launch in India is said to occur in early 2022.
