US Vice President Mike Pence and Democratic vice presidential candidate Kamala Harris opened their first and only debate Wednesday night in Salt Lake City, Utah, also marking the debut of a native Indian on the podium of the vice presidential debate. The debate is being moderated by Susan Page of USA Today, who said the debate format will include nine 10-minute segments, with time for questions to each candidate.
