2 terrorists killed in an encounter with security forces in Shopmu of Jammu and Kashmir

Two terrorists have been killed in an ongoing shooting in the Shopian district of southern Kashmir, officials said on Wednesday.

Security forces launched a joint operation in the village of Malhura Zanpora on Tuesday night after receiving information about the presence of terrorists in the area.

Police said the operation is underway and that two more terrorists are trapped.

Six terrorists have been killed in separate encounters in southern Kashmir in the past month.
