President Ram Nath Kovind on Thursday elevated Judge Dipankar Datta, Superior Judge of the Calcutta High Court, as President of the Bombay High Court, and appointed Judge Biswanath Somadder of the Allahabad High Court as President of the Meghalaya Superior Court.
Both Judge Datta and Judge Somadder were elevated as permanent judges of the Calcutta High Court on June 22, 2006.
