NEW DELHI: The Home Office said on Wednesday that a multi-layered security approach had been taken to the security and protection of Census 2021 data, with data to be encrypted during transmission and also in storage on servers.
The data collection will be carried out in registered devices of the enumerators designated by the State / UT governments. Data is encrypted on device, during transmission, and on servers / storage.
