Bihar survey dates: The Election Commission of India (ECI) announced the schedule for the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections on Friday. Voting for the Bihar assembly elections will take place in three phases: the first on October 28, the second on November 3 and the third on November 7. The counting of all votes will take place on November 10, the Electoral Commission announced on Friday.

In the second phase, 94 places will be filled. Polls – November 3.

Bihar Assembly Election Dates – Here Are The Highlights
- Bihar will have 42,000 polling stations.
- The model code of conduct went into effect immediately with the announcement, says the CEC.
- Social media platforms must make appropriate arrangements to prevent misuse of their platform, says the CEC.
- All election meetings will be supervised by health and election officials. Public meetings can take place by following the rules of social distancing. The District Election Officials will decide the number of people allowed at such meetings.
- District election officials should identify the reasons for the physical campaign and also ensure that the circles are marked on the ground to ensure social distancing, says Sunil Arora
- In addition to the postal facility, those with Covid-19 who are quarantined can vote at the last voting hour. Voting time has been increased by one hour and will not take place from 7 am to 6 pm.

The Supreme Court today refused to accept a petition seeking to postpone the next elections to the Bihar Assembly in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
A team of ECI members had visited the state earlier this month to review the preparation for the elections and take stock of the situation.
