14 migrant workers hit by a freight train in Maharashtra

Fourteen migrant workers were killed after being under a freight train in the Aurangabad district on Friday, police said.

The workers, who were walking to Bhusawal from Jalna, were returning to Madhya Pradesh, said an official at the Karmad police station. PTI.

They had been walking on the train tracks and slept on the train tracks due to exhaustion, he said.

They were run over by the train at 5.15 a.m., the official added.
