A soldier and three terrorists were killed on Saturday after an encounter broke out in the Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir.
“An AK and two pistols were recovered. One soldier was seriously injured and succumbed to his injuries. Joint operation in progress ”. Army spokesman Colonel Rajesh Kalia said.
Police officials said the encounter began in the early hours of Saturday in the Zadoora area of Pulwama around 1 a.m. The operation is still ongoing.

Meanwhile, four terrorists were also killed in an encounter in the Shopian district on Friday, bringing the total number of terrorists killed in the valley to seven in less than 24 hours.
