Compared to five other countries that performed at least 10 lakh Covid-19 tests, India has the fewest positive cases, while Spain recorded the highest, according to the Press Information Office.
Data obtained from three databases were used to compare case numbers in six countries: India, USA. USA, Germany, Spain, Turkey, Italy, when the tests crossed the million mark.

However, it should be noted that the test criteria differ from country to country and it is not clear whether the total number of tests includes new tests in the same patients.
