In the race for the Georgia Senate, Loffler and Parde G.O.P. Makes a ticket to unity

Cumming, Ga. – Republican Senators David Perdue and Kelly Loffler are appearing in the video together, making statements together and on Friday, they held a joint rally in this city outside of Atlanta.

After running a variety of campaigns, Perdue and Loffler are moving forward with a new strategy to hold the Senate in the hands of the GOP from January 5th: join the military and present themselves to Georgia voters as a ticket to unity.

Senators are running a nice line with their message, taking care not to contradict President Donald Trump’s refusal to accept defeat. But the subterfuge is clear: J. Biden will become president and move the progressive agenda forward – but Democrats Jon Sos Sof and Rafael Varnok win two seats in the Georgia Senate, giving his party control of the Senate.

“People have a war on our hands right now, people. It will be a long one. We are firewalls. Not just for the Senate, but for the future of our country as well, ”Loffler said. Rick Scott, appearing with R-Fla, told the packed crowd at the Black Diamond Grill. “If you are our voice on January 5, we will be your voice in Washington Washington.”

This sen is an attempt by both senators to awaken the United Front Republican base after Trump’s shocking defeat in a historic state. There are some dangers, especially for Perdue, who have worked harder than loafers to appeal to voters to swing.

Perdue said he expects the election to be about a base turnout.

“We don’t have to convince people what to do. What we have to do is get votes, ”he said.

Lofiler, who took office in January after being appointed to fill the vacancy, faced a “jungle primary” with candidates from all parties on the same ballot. It’s primarily a Republican Challenger rep. Doug was focused on defeating Collins, and embracing Trump tightly and Labeling yourself “More money than Attila Han.”

The strategy paid off last week and led to a loafer runout. But now he needs to extend his appeal beyond the 26 percent of voters who support him for the first time. His Democratic opponent, Warnock, had the largest share of general election voters with 33 percent.

Now it may be too late to run Pivot. Instead, Loffler’s strategy for victory is to disqualify Warnercock and pull him out of the mainstream. “He has supported Marxist ideas. He has embraced the communists, “he told the mask-alternating crowd here on a sunny day, drawing a booze.

Varnok responded to reporters on Thursday, telling reporters that Loffler “sits down for interviews with well-known white supremacists, and he gladly accepts the support of a candidate who has conspired against the QN, which is full of hatred and bigotry.”

Perdue didn’t have to worry about the Republican Challenger. The first-term incumbent was costly to build an uncontested resignation and focus on general elections, and struck a more concrete tone about controlling the coronavirus and bringing life back to normal.

But the unity ticket also creates opportunities for Democrats. Perdue and Loffler are both multi-millionaires and have a place in wealthy senators. Both increased their fortunes by stock trading during the epidemic.

“They’ve already united as epidemics profiteers,” said Democratic State Senator Jennifer Jordan, who represents Atlanta. Ordinary Georgians don’t even want to be around and will do whatever it takes to make an extra share. “

Jordan said Loffler, who is lesser known and more controversial, will campaign more for the parade on which he campaigned.

“You’re not trying to be moderate when you portray yourself as Attila Hoon,” Jordan said. “Their messaging is inconsistent. If I’m a Period campaign I’ll be kind of cautious. That’s what people know about him. He has no record. ”

But Republicans say RunSfs has changed the equation.

“It’s a new world in the sense that the trend has become majority – the Senate is on the majority line. Even if you had been running a different campaign during the previous month, this war would have resonated with the electorate, ‘said Jesse Hunt, communications director of the National Republican Senate Committee. “Who do you want to run for the Senate?”

Some Republicans in the Atlanta region, who are taking a blue stance in the state and fear the prospect of an all-democratic government, have a compelling message.

Beth Fufankuche, who cares for Loganville, Georgia, said it was a “good idea” for them to walk together.

“Paredu has been in office fees much longer than that,” he said. “I don’t know Kelly all that well.”

In contrast, Sassoff and Vernonck come from different backgrounds as Jewish millennials and leading Baptist preachers. Everyone comes from a different segment of the population that helps run Democratic Victors – young voters and Black Americans. Both are running to protect the protecting access of health care and defeat the coronavirus epidemic.

The two have no joint events scheduled at the moment but off the couch said they expect to campaign together during the run-during.

The Warnock campaign said Loffler’s link to the paradox was untenable.

“It doesn’t matter who Senator Lofler is campaigning with,” said Terrence Clark, a spokesman for Varnok. “She’s trying to get the paper on the record of attacking coverage of pre-existing conditions and protection from epidemic profiteering, and now she’s caught lying in her ads.”
