Selling Sunset‘s Mary Fitzgerald en Romain Bonnet could not wait to get married she actually exchanged her vows before the hit Netflix show premiered.

As fans of the reality TV series know, the couple’s relationship was an enormous part of season one and season two storyline.

In fact, the couple’s big day was documented on Selling Sunset in the second season. The series even showed that the realtor is selling the million-dollar house she uses on her wedding day for her place.

While fans believed the two tied the knot on October 12, 2019, the star’s rep confirmed Folk that they had a ‘civil union’ the year before.

“Mary and Romain had a civil union for a few months before the show started filming in June of 2018, but she chose not to tell any of her friends or family because they were still trying to see if their relationship would work. in the long run, “Mary’s rep said in a statement to the outlet.

TMZ was the first to report the news after obtaining a copy of the marriage license and certificate. The publication found that Mary and Romain tied the knot on March 9, 2018 at the Ventura County Courthouse.

E! News has reached the reps of both stars for comment, and have yet to get a response.

It does not matter if the duo celebrated their big day, one thing is clear: They are in love with each other over-the-month.

“Happy Birthday to the best man in the world,” Mary wrote on Instagram in June. In a more recent post, she shared, “So blessed to have this amazing man with me to share this epic journey together.”

Last week, Romain expressed his love for his leading lady. “The greatest treasure of a man is not to be found in wealth he has. It is in finding the right woman who chooses to stand by his side,” he captured his post.

Only time will tell if Netflix promises more seasons of the hit show!
