The Good Brothers and Motor City machine guns make their presence known in Pay-Per-View; EC3 appears, bringing mystery with it

Eric Young is back; Heath boasts of being the hottest free agent on the market

Nashville – (July 18, 2020) – The long-awaited mystery of free agents to appear at Slammiversary 2020 was answered during the three-hour live pay-per-view event, when established stars broke up the party, causing mayhem and bringing More questions to the IMPACT Wrestling list.

The wave of newcomers to IMPACT began moments after midnight on July 18 when The Good Brothers, Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson’s team confirmed that they were destined for IMPACT Wrestling. A powerful couple that has been united since 2013, Gallows and Anderson have world history and fame, competing in New Japan Pro Wrestling and in the US with multiple championship reigns.

Slammiversary 2020 also featured the return of one of the most popular tag teams in company history: Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin, aka, Motor City Machine Guns. The Guns accepted an open challenge from The Rascalz (Dez and Wentz) and immediately clarified their vision: The Guns want gold!

After their Slammiversary victory, Motor City machine guns are set to challenge reigning champions The North (Ethan Page and Josh Alexander) for the IMPACT Tag Team Championship this Tuesday, July 21 at IMPACT. on AXS TV at 8pm ET / 5pm PT.

Detroit natives Shelley and Sabin are former TNA Tag Team World Champions and have previously won the prestigious Pro Wrestling Illustrated Tag Team of the Year Award.

The IMPACT singles division was also rocked at Slammiversary 2020, as the show ended with the return of the EC3 on screen.

EC3 is a two-time TNA Heavyweight World Champion and former Grand Champion of IMPACT, among other accolades, and will also return to IMPACT! this Tuesday on AXS TV.

Another returning world champion was Eric Young (EY), the proud and charismatic Canadian who made his TNA debut in early 2004 and has a 12-year history in the IMPACT Wrestling ring. EY is a former TNA World Heavyweight Champion, a former Division X champion and a two-time former World Tag Team champion. He is also a TNA Triple Crown champion and a TNA Grand Slam champion.

Heath arrived and quickly proclaimed that he is the most popular free agent on the market and ready to silence any skeptic. Competing since 2004, Heath has had considerable in-ring experience in tag team wrestling, with multiple tag championship races including a long history of teamwork with IMPACT star Rhino.

The event also featured the return to the ring of former X-Division champion Rich Swann, who has been out of action since late last year due to injury. Swann was late to the main event to crown a new IMPACT World Champion.

“Slammiversary 2020 will become the largest game-changing event in IMPACT Wrestling history,” said IMPACT Executive Vice President Scott D’Amore.

Slammiversary 2020 was an action packed show featuring multiple title changes, including Eddie Edwards claiming the IMPACT World Championship, defeating Ace Austin, Trey Miguel, and the return of EY and Swann. Edwards’ main event victory further assured his legacy as one of the best to compete in an IMPACT ring. He is now a two-time world champion to go with his two X-Division reigns and five World Tag Team Championship.

Additional highlights of Slammiversary 2020 include:
