When Meghan Markle and Prince Harry retired in January as senior members of the royal family, one of the reasons behind her decision was her desire to be independent and earn her own money. Now that the pair have moved to Southern California, fans are beginning to believe that Meghan will return to perform. If that happens, she will make a crazy amount of cash.
The pandemic has slowed down the Sussexes plans
As Town & Country points out, another reason for Megxit was Harry and Meghan’s desire for more freedom with their philanthropy. They wanted the opportunity to choose and carry out charitable projects without royal restrictions or requiring the approval of the palace.
The Sussexes are moving forward with their plans for their new Archewell Foundation. However, the pandemic has made things significantly slower. There are some hints and details starting to appear that may indicate what Harry and Meghan’s next project is.
The first hint is that Harry and Meghan have Archewell as trademarks for television shows and movies for movies.
Earlier this year, Meghan appeared as the narrator in the Disney nature documentary Elephants. Prince Harry has also partnered with Oprah Winfrey on a serious mental health campaign for AppleTV +.
Now Harry and Meghan, according to Variety, are launching a ‘top secret project’ around Hollywood. The couple presumably held meetings in June with various networks. It is not yet known if they are shopping for a scripted or non-scripted series.
Will Meghan Markle return to acting?
According to an insider, the couple wants to serve as joint producers on their new project. One of the many media companies from which Harry and Meghan bought their idea was NBCUniversal.
They met with the company’s top executives, including NBCUniversal Content Studios chairman Bonnie Hammer. Meghan has known Hammer since her days about the legal drama of the US Suits.
Prince Harry also made a surprising appearance in the new Netflix trailer for the documentary Rising Phoenix. However, the streaming service has not confirmed that they are meeting with the royal couple about their “top secret project.”

An insider close to the Duchess claims she “has absolutely no plans to act.” This apparently shuts down the idea that Meghan is playing a scripted series starring herself.
Even though Meghan has worked with Disney before and Harry has worked with Apple, it is not known if they have shown their project to any of the companies.
Insiders believe Meghan Markle could make a hefty amount of money
According to Express, rumors are still circulating that Meghan will return to trade now that she lives in Southern California. Bridesmaids director Paul Feig says everyone in Hollywood wants to work with them.
InterTalent Chairman Professor Jonathan Shalit OBE believes Meghan’s “traction is phenomenal both in America and globally.” Shalit says that despite the role, everyone wants to see the Duchess perform.
“We’re talking a $ 50 million fee,” Shalit said. ‘People will be fascinated to see them perform at the beginning. When she returns Suits it would be the biggest TV series in the world. ”

Of course, Suits recently it ended with nine seasons. But, Meghan still has a lot of options. Avengers: Endgame director Joe Russo says Meghan “offers incredible opportunities for filmmakers.” He says she can bring incredible awareness about causes and problems.
Russo says it is ‘great’ to be back in business.
