“I Had Infected My Daughter and Asthmatic Son” – Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde lets us record on her COVID-19 experience

A few weeks ago, Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde revealed on their Instagram page that they are testing positive for coronavirus.

Fortunately, she and her family have recovered.

Sharing their experience, the screen diva said she dedicated COVID-19 to a set of a movie, and infected her son and daughter.

According to Vanguard, she said:

I barely got sick and so when I started getting cold the next day or so, I knew something was wrong. I thought it might be stressful. This was on Monday, August 3rd. I waited until Tuesday and it got worse. I shook indefinitely and my temperature went through the roof.

My mind immediately told me, this is not malaria or fever. I have been extremely cautious and paranoid about this COVID-19 game. That I told hubby that I should be tested immediately. I have a son who has Asthma!

They came to test me on Wednesday and my result came out on Thursday night, Positive. My world crashed. I felt crazy and empty. My symptoms were high fever and chills … luckily no one else. But it was so bad, they thought about coming over to evacuate me, because my viral load was high and I was not getting better … but God came up for me.

That they had to test the whole family … I had infected my daughter and asthmatic son! My God appeared to me because my son is asymptomatic, so positive, but not sick! My daughter lost her smell and taste and had severe diarrhea. Everything is stopped now, thank God.

We are all in forgiveness now. It’s physically, mentally and emotionally exhausting because the doctors tell you it’s a 50/50 chance. Nothing you do really saves you. You can take the vitamins alone, manage the symptoms and hope your body fights.

Please this thing is real and we need to come together to find the safest way to work and protect ourselves. I was one of the most cautious people you will ever meet regarding COVID-19. Imagine if I believed that I could not be infected … I wish I could not … but I was … I could go out and keep infecting others
