Half a year after the spring outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, the second wave of the pandemic has arrived. The radical increase in the number of infected is forcing more and more countries to re-impose restrictions, despite the fact that the world economy has not even recovered from the effects of the spring outbreak. In Cambodia, at least 628 people were tested for the coronavirus who came into direct contact with a delegation led by the Hungarian Foreign and Trade Minister, which later turned out to be coronavirus. So far, none of them have been diagnosed with the infection, local media reported Thursday, citing a statement from the Health Ministry.

Fortunately, the Southeast Asian country has so far been averted by the coronavirus epidemic, and the authorities did not record any deaths, only 292 infected, 286 of which have already fully recovered.

During a one-day visit to Cambodia on Tuesday, Péter Szijjártó also spoke with several senior government officials, who quarantined themselves as a precaution after the Hungarian minister tested positive for his coronavirus at the next stop on his Asian trip in Bangkok. .
