Soon a robotic submarine will be launched in search of you.

Due to unfavorable weather conditions, it is not yet possible to approach the site of the defunct Adriatic drilling platform of the Croatian oil company INA, with which all connections were cut last Saturday, the company reported Tuesday.

The gas platform was located fifty kilometers northwest of Pula, Istria. However, there have been no signs of the weekend’s storm.

So far, attempts have been made to locate them by ships and airplanes, but in the second half of the week robotic submarines will also be launched in search of them, with which the INA used to check the status of its offshore production facilities.

The announcement highlighted that there were no personnel on the platform and that the emergency system was activated, which closed the safety valves on the gas platform so that the accident would not have a detrimental effect on the environment.
