At another campaign event, Europe was reprimanded by Donald Trump for restrictions imposed due to the coronavirus epidemic.

Coronavirus: the second wave

Half a year after the spring outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, the second wave of the pandemic has arrived. The radical increase in the number of infected is forcing more and more countries to re-impose restrictions, although the world economy has not even recovered from the effects of the spring outbreak. Europe has been criticized by US President Donald Trump for one of the campaign events in Michigan on Sunday because of the additional restrictions imposed to stop the coronavirus epidemic.

The president of the United States called for the draconian austerity measures taken in some European countries.

“Europe has ordered draconian closures, while the number of infections and deaths is increasing, but I think that is still draconian austerity,” Trump said in front of his supporters. He added, “Now they have to start over. What the hell are they doing? I’m thinking I’ll go and explain.”

Donald Trump has expressed that he is currently ordering a return to normal daily life, without the country being shut down. “I can tell you that we have no closure,” he told the crowd, who greeted his words with applause. He also promised that parts of the United States would never be closed again.

More than nine million people with coronavirus infections have already been diagnosed in the United States, and more than 230,000 people have died from complications of the disease.
