Again, tens of thousands of people took to the streets in Minsk on Sunday despite warnings from authorities that they were ready to use live ammunition, MTI reported, citing Russian news sources. The protesters continue to demand the resignation of the fraudulently elected Belarusian president and the holding of new, fair and free elections.

According to a recent report by the Russian news agency Interfax, more than 30,000 people take part in the demonstration against President Alexander Lukashenko. According to official figures, the police detained 66 people on Sunday night.

This time, the protesters did not gather in the city center, but in one of the southern neighborhoods of Minsk, full of factories.
