A total of 25 hospitals were designated and published on the government information website.
The 25 hospitals where healthcare workers will be vaccinated have already been designated as the first stage in preparing for coronavirus vaccines, the coronavir virus press center said Wednesday. Each county will have a designated vaccination point for this purpose, and a hospital will also establish 4-6 vaccination points.
Designated vaccination points:
- Budapest: Military Hospital, South Pest Center Hospital, St. John Hospital, St. Imre Hospital, Korányi Institute of Pneumology, Semmelweis University
- Pest County: Flór Ferenc Hospital, Kistarcsa
- field: central county hospitals
They were reminded that according to the Vaccination Plan, vaccination will start with health workers, but it will also be completely voluntary for them. The designation of vaccination points is necessary so that health institutions can prepare in time for the arrival of the appropriate and authorized vaccine in Hungary.
Refrigeration conditions are available for vaccine storage at designated hospitals. Designated hospitals must designate separate rooms for vaccination and must provide an online and telephone registry for healthcare professionals requesting vaccination, keep records of vaccinations performed, and provide the vaccinated person with a certificate of vaccination.
