On Thursday, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán visited a police officer at the Military Hospital who was attacked by a man with a knife last week in Újpest. The prime minister also visited the coronavirus vaccination point set up at the institution, Bertalan Havasi, a spokeswoman for the prime minister, told MTI.
Together with the Minister of the Interior, Viktor Orbán Sándor Pintér visited the threatening sergeant, who had already left the intensive care unit and was recovering well. The Prime Minister thanked the police officer for his position and wished him great strength to recover.
According to Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister and the Minister of the Interior also visited the coronavirus vaccination point installed at the Hungarian Army Health Center. Health workers were thanked for performing their work at an outstanding level on New Year’s Day with their usual perseverance. Viktor Orbán put it this way: the vaccine will bring back our past lives next year.
