The court ordered the arrest of a young man who tried to obtain a weapon from the police patrol service at the Köki terminal bus station.
The young man stood behind a policeman at a train station in the mall on Friday afternoon, according to the Central Investigating Attorney General, and tried to remove his gun from its holster.
Upon detecting the movement, the police prevented the firearm from being removed despite repeated attempts by the perpetrator to remove it from its holster. The other police officers then handcuffed the man.
According to the prosecution, the 24-year-old suspect’s goal was to obtain the service firearm and ammunition and then kill the police. The man admitted that he wanted to obtain the weapon, but denied that he wanted to kill them. The young man and his defender filed a complaint against the suspicion.
The Central Investigation Prosecutor’s Office requested the arrest of a man suspected of preparing the murder, which was ordered by the court on Monday, and the order was registered by all participants in the process.
