“We would like to inform our dear fans and media staff that the COVID tests on Friday revealed that a couple of our players and staff have also been involved in the infection. – states the announcement posted on ujpestfc.hu. – We have taken the appropriate measures, we will continue the championship, so of course we will face MOL Fehérvár FC, and next week we will also play the Cup match lost in Iváncsa ”.
Újpest FC will start the field today from 8 pm as a guest of Fehérvár in the sixth round of NB I.
The club’s announcement adds that the names of those involved will not be released and will limit the media’s ability to conduct face-to-face interviews in the future. Újpest FC asks for the understanding of the press and the fans.
