Based on the experience of the Super Cup final in Budapest on 24 September, the UEFA Executive Committee decided to allow spectators to partially return to UEFA matches when local rules allow.

The announcement also states that the discount will go into effect for national team matches that expire next week.

This means that Ferencváros, who will also host teams from Juventus, FC Barcelona and Dinamo Kiev in the BL group stage, can accommodate approximately 7,000 fans at the Groupama Arena.

If local authorities set a value lower than the 30% threshold, it will be applied at that stage.

Staying away will be mandatory for spectators and additional precautions, such as wearing masks, should be taken according to local regulations.

According to the UEFA committee, last week’s game in Budapest showed that fans accept and follow precautions.

UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin called today’s decision a reasonable first step.

The Hungarian Federation (MLSZ) indicated on the website that the decision is also valid for the October national team matches, however, the Hungarian team will be the guest of Bulgaria in Sofia in the qualifying rounds of the European Championship next Thursday , and three and six days later in the capitals of Serbia and Russia. In their league, so the national team can only be seen by Hungarian fans in November.
