Due to the irresponsibility of their own colleagues, several employees of the Bajcsy-Zsilinszky Hospital in the capital may have been infected with a coronavirus, according to RTL Klub Híradója.
According to their information, two nurses also cared for patients in the coronavirus ward without a face mask, and then had lunch with their colleagues. This was confirmed to the channel by several hospital workers, but according to Emmi, no such incident occurred. However, the ministry acknowledged that 24 hospital employees had been infected.
At the Bajcsy-Zsilinszky Hospital, patients infected with the coronavirus have been treated for two months and workers can only enter those infected with protective equipment. As far as RTL is concerned, the two nurses removed the mask in the infected room because they had difficulty breathing.
The hospital and operating personnel did not respond to questions from the channel.
