Tragedy: nine children were orphaned

Two Pécs families were also affected by a terrible tragedy within a few days. It is common in families for all children to attend the Pécs Republic Square primary school.

Six children were orphaned

In one family, six children were orphaned after the coronavirus kidnapped their 51-year-old mother. The youngest son in the family had just turned 13 years old. The mother raised her children alone. After the divorce, she tried to prosper mainly with the help of her older children, but due to her inherited debts, her situation was desperate.

The children are talented and are now very spiritually exhausted by the death of their mother. Said the school principal. The director also said that

the youngest girl slept in a room with her mother, but now she is only forced to look at her empty bed every day.

Not enough death all six children are now trying to thrive on their own. They still do not know how they will cover their expenses, much less the debts that remain.

Children definitely want to move to a place where they can start a new life. The current place always evokes painful memories. Children want to ask for help with this.

Three children were left without a father

In the other Pécs family, his 45-year-old father, completely healthy, died of coronavirus. Here, two sixth-grade students and a 15-year-old girl were left without a head of the family.
