Three men were arrested by police on suspicion of multi-million dollar fraud, Lt. Col. Robert Kiss, deputy head of the Corps virus corps call center, said at an online news conference on Friday. The residents of Tamás and Veszprém have been offering masks, rubber gloves and personal protective equipment for sale since spring, and have requested part of the purchase price in advance. The victims transferred around 10 million guilders to the three perpetrators, who, however, delivered only a small part of the products ordered. Police arrested the three men and prosecuted them on suspicion of commercial fraud of significant value, the lieutenant colonel said.

Róbert Kiss said that in the past 24 hours, police had taken action against 326 people for violating the curfew and violating the 500-meter rule for dog walking. He said that so far a total of 4,364 people have been served due to the curfew imposed on November 4 and the ban imposed from 24:00 hours on November 10. (MTI)
