Lake Balaton really came into the spotlight after Trianon’s decision. With the new borders, only 63 of the 224 spas in the country remain, and only two of the 30 spas. Lake Balaton has suddenly become a national problem, mass recreation and sport fishing by the lake began in the 1930s and 1940s, and sunbathing has become a true fad. A II. sacrificed this during the WWII years, and restoration of damaged old resorts took place in many places until the 1950s. Efforts to centralize the communist ideology that came to power also spared the hotel industry. . In 1951, the beaches became corporate or municipal property, and the villas were classified as state property by the Residential Buildings Nationalization Act of 1952. Shortly thereafter, these nationalized villas became office, corporate, and union tourist complexes. . Starting in the 1960s, unions gained greater sectoral autonomy and they played an important role in the organization of cultural events, social assistance and recreation. From here, the workers who gave the tribe of the crowd a vacation flourished again in Lake Balaton tourism.
