Ongoing tests for coronavirus are being conducted at the Lauder Javne School in Budapest, resulting in twenty-one students and nine teachers being infected, writes hvg.hu. Director-General Gábor Horányi said most of the infections can be attributed to the four children who were on a field trip before starting school and were later shown to be infected.
In addition to them, three more students are known to have contracted the disease, so the infection has already been identified in 3.3 percent of the 1,000-person institution.
The evaluation is funded by the school community fund, part of which is added by the school and part by the parents on a voluntary basis.
Members of the quarantined eighth grade class will expire next week, but for the sake of safety, they will only be allowed to return to school with a negative test.
The general director said they have a good relationship with the ministry, they receive all the help but the epidemic is not up to the task. “None of the positive cases that we filtered in the capital received the red card, although none voluntarily left their department,” he said. They did not experience such a problem in their rural students.
