“There was a little champagne”

Today, László B. was brought to justice again, accused of murdering VV Fanni three years ago and then stealing him. He pleaded guilty to complicity, but denies murder. He said he made the mistake of turning the woman over to strangers. A witness who saw the man who was carrying VV Fanni in the underground garage was heard at today’s hearing, and it was also learned that the prosecution had received another letter from the prison that could help solve the case.

At the start of today’s trial, László B. was questioned by the court for an hour, so members of the press were not allowed into the courtroom.

The trial was subsequently resumed in public, with witness hearings. László B. sat behind a large table in the middle of the meeting room and had a large folder in front of him.

The man was first called to the witness stand, who said he did not know Fanni Novozánszki, but met László B. in the garage on the night of November 20, 2017. He saw him twice in total, at first only from his car, from afar. He said he had no suspicions that the man was carrying a woman in his arms,

because I’d seen it before in nightclubs.

According to his recollections, the woman was wearing a loose summer dress, and László B. was tired, which he inferred from her movements and breathing.

Later, the man passed him in the garage.

Then he saw confusion in their eyes

but he didn’t find it unusual either. He thought he wanted to help the woman.

The witness said in his earlier confession that when they met for the second time in the underground garage, László B. told him that “there was a little champagne.”

He answered the prosecutor’s question by saying that he could only see VV Fanni from a distance, from his car, when László B. took him to his car, he could not see the woman’s face up close. I couldn’t tell if he had injuries or not. He did not even see László B. put the body in the car because he had not seen it from his parking lot.

The second witness was summoned by the defense. He was the one with whom László B. would have made surfboards. I wanted to raise money for this VV Fanni business. László B. wanted to organize a joint meeting with the witness and Fanni. The witness did not know that László B. wanted to incorporate Fanni into the company, he only made references to her. The woman would have entered the tender, which would have been necessary to start the business because she met the conditions.

In the end, the meeting failed because VV Fanni did not return from abroad. Later, the man found out from the media what happened. László B. denied having said this to his acquaintance.

The judge later said that the prosecutor’s office had received a letter from a woman in prison that said

has information about the murder of VV Fanni.

László B. did not know the woman by name.

The third witness was László B.’s father, but he exercised his right to immunity, that is, he was not required to testify as a relative. The next witness would have been the man’s mother, but she, too, refused to testify.

Subsequently, the judge ordered a pause and the trial would continue in the afternoon with the hearing of additional witnesses.

I could throw the corpse into the Danube

As we have already written, Fanni Novozánszki became known in one of the reality shows. Then she began working as a prostitute at Marina’s beach apartment. However, on November 20, 2017, he disappeared.
The residential park security camera recorded it as László B. unloaded Fanni’s lifeless body in the garage, put it in his car and then drove away.

According to the indictment, the man was in serious financial trouble at the time and wanted to get money from the woman. That particular night, she walked up to him, hit him, and put him in his car with some things. VV. Fanni was probably already dead.

The next day, near Dunaújváros, he tied up the corpse, put weight on it and let it enter the Danube.

Later, using the woman’s keys, he returned to her apartment and ransacked it.

Instead, László B. always talked about how when he approached Fanni, his girlfriend nervously opened a door and the woman was lying on a sofa. The girlfriend asked them not to call an ambulance because then they could get into trouble, so they preferred to take her somewhere where they would hand her over to “problem solving people”.

He said that he dared to give VV Fanni to strangers because he had heard stories from his lawyer’s uncle that people who worked for the underworld suffered various injuries.

They haven’t been found in three years.

The authorities have already spent hundreds of millions of guilders to find the body, but they have not obtained results, although they have been searched almost everywhere. They examined the affected sections of the Danube, looking for Lake Balaton, wells and a larger wooded area.

Several possibilities arose regarding how László B. may have removed Fanni VV’s corpse. He may have given it to wild boars or given it to a criminal organization whose members burned it in a crematorium. What is certain, however, is that when László B. was tied to a lie detector, the polygraph was indicated by the word water.
