The daily number of people infected with the new coronavirus has skyrocketed in Croatia and Slovenia still exceeds 100, according to a report by crisis teams on Saturday.

The number of active patients is 2,429 and 8,955 are in official quarantine. Most of the new infections were still recorded in the counties of the capital Zagreb and Split-Dalmatia: the first was detected in 49 people and the last in 48 people. In Croatia, restrictions vary from county to county and mainly refer to limiting the number of participants in various events. At the same time, restaurants, cafes and nightclubs are regulated at the national level. The provisions will be reviewed every two weeks by the Crisis Team and, if necessary, will be extended for another two weeks.
