The new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) was detected in new Hungarian citizens, bringing the number of infected people identified in Hungary to 3,341, writes koronavírus.gov.hu. Compared to yesterday’s data, only 28 new patients were registered.
Another 5 elderly chronic patients died. This increased the number of deaths to 430, and 1102 left the hospital after recovery, so the number of deaths also increased by another 95.
The number of active infections decreased to 1,809. 60 percent of infected assets, 79 percent of those killed, and 58 percent of those recovered were from Budapest or Pest County. 688 coronavirus patients are hospitalized and 45 are on ventilators.
As they write, we are in the second stage of defense. This is not the end of the epidemic, as the virus continues to spread. The government’s goal is to gradually restart life according to a strict schedule and continue to avoid an “outbreak” of the epidemic. Therefore, the curfew is still in effect in Budapest and Pest County, but new regulations have entered into force in the field. Across the country, it is still important to maintain a protective distance of 1.5 meters and cover your face in shops and public transportation.
Older people are still being asked to leave their homes only with due care and to visit supermarkets, drug stores, pharmacies within the assigned time zone, from 9 to 12 o’clock.
