The US Supreme Court on Friday dismissed a lawsuit by the state of Texas that sought to invalidate the victory of Democratic candidate Joe Biden in the November 3 presidential elections in four member states.

Texas argued that massive fraud had occurred in Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. The petition was joined by several state justice ministers and several Republican members of the Washington Congress. President Donald Trump also announced Thursday that he will join the Texas lawsuit as a plaintiff.

According to the court, Texas has no locus standi in the case because it could not legally establish its interest in holding the elections in another member state.

In Michigan, Georgia, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, where Joe Biden won, he asked the court to dismiss the lawsuit, which they said was unfounded.
