At the renovated Határ út metro station, Mayor Gergely Karácsony delivered the renovated southern section of metro line 3 on Thursday. As he said, the rest of the metro renovation, the renovation of the central section, still raises a lot of questions, but “this is not the day that we ask questions, but when we rejoice in our common success.” He also spoke before him that politicians who exercise public power often inherit decisions that mark the way of the future.

He mentioned that he had also invited government representatives and his predecessor, István Tarlós, to the ceremony. The latter could not be present due to his rural journey, but expressed his gratitude and joy.

The renovation of the southern section of Metro 3 began in the spring of 2019. During the works, the rails were replaced, the stops were renewed, which will even be accessible by the end of 2021. (Via MTI)
