The Polish Senate has asked the government to withdraw its attempt to veto the EU budget, Euronews writes. According to the Senate, this is contrary to Polish interests. The proposal was adopted by the majority of the deputies of the Polish opposition.

On Wednesday, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki rejected the proposal made by Commission President Ursula von der Leyen in a plenary session of the European Parliament to bring Polish and Hungarian doubts about EU budget conditionality to the Court of Justice of the European Union.
