The Debrecen Sentencing Board charged him with murder in Borsodnádasd B. Rolandot he was sentenced to 18 years in prison and prohibited from exercising public affairs for 18 years for the crime of murder for vile motives and with special cruelty.

According to the court notification, the panel found the facts established by the lower court to be partially unfounded and therefore took evidence. In the course of this, he heard witnesses and experts new and old, and also held hearings on the spot. As a consequence of the new circumstances that arose during the second instance process, it substantially modified the facts. According to the adjudication table, a conflict of unknown origin arose between the defendant and the victim, which led to the action of the defendant.

He abused the victim, who was rendered unconscious as a result. The defendant knew that he was placing the unconscious living victim in a water-filled mine, causing the girl to drown.

In doing so, I wanted to remove the clues. Not only did he settle for his death, he wanted it, according to a court statement.

The sentencing panel evaluated as aggravating that the accused consumed and herbalized alcohol, his act disturbed the tranquility of the settlement and that the victim trusted him. According to the sentencing panel, a higher than average custodial sentence is proportional to the defendant’s danger to society and an appropriate sanction to dissuade him and others from committing acts of a similar nature.

He was convicted in the first instance only for negligent homicide

In March, the court sentenced Roland to four years in first-instance prison for negligent murder. The judge then justified his decision by failing to establish beyond a reasonable doubt that the man had abused the 17-year-old. K. Ring, before throwing it into the mine. The verdict caused great outrage.

The suspect had previously claimed that he had met the girl on the eve of the tragedy, but was suddenly told by Csenge that he had to go. The man claimed to have been divorced later, but later found the unconscious girl lying in a wooded area. He thought he was dead and was sure he was suspected of having killed him, and was so scared that he threw Bell into the water hole.

At the time, the prosecution sentenced Mr. Rolandra to 14 years in prison if he pleaded guilty and also waived his right to a trial. However, the 22-year-old did not make a deal and was eventually sentenced to four years in prison for negligent manslaughter, for which he was able to leave the court after the first instance verdict due to the years he spent in pretrial detention.

The Prosecutor’s Office appealed against the erroneous legal classification of the crime and the aggravation of the sentence imposed. And during the second instance process, new evidence came to light that, according to the Deputy Attorney General, clearly shows that B. Roland murdered unscrupulously, punched the young woman and killed her for not being able to have sexual relations with him .

At his hearing last week, the prosecutor asked the court to convict the man convicted of negligent homicide on a vile motive, in a particularly cruel homicide, and to significantly aggravate his sentence. The court then ordered the preventive detention of B. Roland.
